St Mary’s College

The campus of St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda, comprises a six-storey building with 33 classrooms, state-of-the-art labs, a centrally located library, a mini auditorium, and a cafeteria. The college is well-equipped with high quality infrastructure for academics as well as extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.

Spread across six floors lie 33 well-ventilated classrooms that create the perfect learning environment. The unique architecture of these classrooms allows for spaces where students can enjoy the view in their leisure time. All classrooms on the Fourth and Fifth floors are air-conditioned.

Yummy and nourishing food apart, the cafeteria is also the life of the campus where students can have many of their rewarding conversations with their friends.

The college library, Bibliothèque, is an asset for both budding scholars yearning for knowledge and those students who take education formally to prepare for outstanding academic performance. Home to a comprehensive collection of books, journals, periodicals and a large stock of reference books, the library augments learning beyond standard curriculum textbooks.

There are seven fully-equipped laboratories for life sciences, computer science, physical sciences, chemical sciences, mass communication and language. These laboratories help students complement their sound theoretical knowledge with hands-on application. The two computer science labs and the mass communication and language lab are fully airconditioned.

Sports Facilities

The college has a basketball court, a volleyball court and two cricket nets for outdoor sports. Additionally, it has facilities for indoor games like table tennis, carom and chess.

St. Mary’s College has an air-conditioned, well-designed, well-equipped 150-seater mini-auditorium called the Theatrix. This is used as a space for audio-visual presentations, formal functions and live interactive sessions. From movie screenings to engaging panel discussions to addresses by persons of influence, the Theatrix is the space where the college comes alive during events.
