The St. Mary’s Educational Society established St. Mary’s Junior College in the year 1982, in Basheerbagh. Within a short span of time the college became the first choice for students in Hyderabad. This lead to the expansion of the college giving way to the second campus.

In 1995, the St. Mary’s College catered to the academic needs of students in intermediate, and in the year 2002, it branched out to Under graduation as well. The foundation of this college was to provide guidance, identify talent, enhance potential and create world changers.

St. Mary’s College was recognized as one of the top three co-educational institutions in Hyderabad and was referred to as the most “Happening” college in the twin cities. We take pride in playing an important role in paving the way to success for all our students – future that enables them to pursue their dreams, no matter how unattainable they may seem.

Over the years St. Mary’s College has grown in strength and reputation. The strong precedence of students consistently securing state ranks in IPE, EAMCET, IIT and securing admissions in BITS (PILANI) and other reputed institutions in India and as well as abroad are added feathers to the hat.
Today, this “most happening college” has gained recognition for its advanced methods of teaching as well as catering to the academic and extra-curricular needs of the students. The management leaves no stone unturned to give the best for the students.

Fortune 500 companies have visited the college to hire from campus, through the placement cell. In less than two years of the placement cell in being the college has churned out at least 70% employable graduates of those registered with the cell.
