Bachelor of Commerce ( Business Analytics )
Bachelor of Commerce (Business Analytics) provides a fine balance of knowledge of Commerce and Data Analytics. This program is skill-oriented, providing knowledge on all aspects of commerce, economics, taxation, accounting, auditing, and statistics while having an extended focus on data-driven decision-making and business analytics that prepares students for jobs in Finance, IT, ITeS, MIS and BPO sectors.
Program Outcomes for B COM:
PO 1: The course provides a platform for experimental learning and grooms students towards industry specific curriculum with focused approach on specific areas which are crucial in the management of companies.
PO 2: After completing three years for Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) program, students would gain a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Commerce and Finance.
PO 3: The course is focused on the all-round development of the students’ personality through proper education and exposure to the vast treasure of knowledge.
PO 4: The course provides exposure to students in the latest trends in relevant branches of knowledge giving them the needed competence and creativity to face global challenges.
PO 5: Students have a plethora of choices to pursue professional courses such as CA, M.COM, MBA, CMA, ICWA, CS, CFA, etc.
PO 6: The students will be ready for employment in functional areas like accounting, taxation, banking, insurance and corporate law.
B Com (Business Analytics):
PSO 1: Students will improve their understanding of data and learn how to use, analyze and utilize data effectively for business purposes.
PSO 2: Students will learn to organize information efficiently and analyze using appropriate software.
PSO 3: Students will acquire skills for data-driven decision-making.
PSO 4: Students will be able to use the essentials of data-analytics and understand data analytics modelling.
PSO 5 : Students will be able to perform forecasting and predictive analytics.
PSO 6: Students will be conversant with basic data visualization techniques and will be capable of learning advanced techniques.
PSO 7: Students will be able to work on business applications of emerging technologies.
