Bachelor of Commerce (Voc.) ( Advertising, Sales Persons and Sales Management )
Advertising, sales persons and sales management are an integral part of taking any product or service to the market. Bachelor of Commerce in Advertising, Sales Persons and Sales Management covers a range of topics such as Business Organisation, Fundamentals of Advertising, Accounting Basics, Banking, Basics and others. Students can opt for careers in account planning, direct and indirect sales, campaign planning and many more. Students can further opt for MBA with specialization in Marketing or Sales after completing this course.
Program Outcomes for B COM:
PO 1: The course provides a platform for experimental learning and grooms students towards industry specific curriculum with focused approach on specific areas which are crucial in the management of companies.
PO 2: After completing three years for Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) program, students would gain a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Commerce and Finance.
PO 3: The course is focused on the all-round development of the students’ personality through proper education and exposure to the vast treasure of knowledge.
PO 4: The course provides exposure to students in the latest trends in relevant branches of knowledge giving them the needed competence and creativity to face global challenges.
PO 5: Students have a plethora of choices to pursue professional courses such as CA, M.COM, MBA, CMA, ICWA, CS, CFA, etc.
PO 6: The students will be ready for employment in functional areas like accounting, taxation, banking, insurance and corporate law.
B Com (Voc.):
PSO 1: The course exposes the students to the rigors of international advertising and equips them to be able to manage the media along with different aids of advertising in the international markets.
PSO 2: Students will understand the concept of creativity in depth with the knowledge of growing importance of creativity in Ads in today’s competitive world.
PSO 3: The course enables the students to develop skills required for job/vocation in advertising, personal selling and salesmanship.
PSO 4: Students will be equipped with skills required to motivate and train the sales force and enhance their productivity.
PSO 5: The course enables the students to pursue post graduate programs in Advertising, Marketing, and Digital Marketing, Advertising cum Public Relations, Media Management etc
PSO 6: After completion of the course, students can pursue their carriers as Client Service Manager, Account Executive, Copywriter, Content writer, Marketing Research Executive etc
