Undergraduate Programmes Offered

At St. Mary’s College you will be exposed to an environment that thrives on hands-on learning as well as critical and creative thinking. 

Departments

St. Mary’s College offers undergraduate programmes, which lead to the award of Bachelors in Arts, Commerce, Business Administration and Science degrees from Osmania University. Each UG programme is led by a Programme Coordinator. Members of the teaching faculty who teach these programmes are organized into five broad departments, each led by a Head of the Department. These Departments are:

  • Business Management
  • Commerce
  • English and Languages
  • Sciences
  • Social Sciences and Humanities

College Timings

Classes for BA/BBA/BCom/BSc programmes are usually held between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm during Monday – Friday. Students are expected to come to campus on time, i.e. by 8:20 am and be inside their classroom by 8:25 am. College gates close by 8:30 am on regular working days and students are not allowed to enter the campus once the gates are closed (or exit the campus until the gates are opened) except with the permission slips which may be used as per the college’s Policy on Late Entry and Exit. Certificate courses, value-added courses, project-work and other co-curricular as well as extracurricular activities are usually scheduled after 2:00 pm. The College campus (including the Office) remains open till 4:30 pm on usual working days and on most Saturdays, except Second Saturdays.
