Anu Victor

Lecturer in Computer Science
Anu Victor has been a lecturer in Computer Science at St. Mary’s College since 2007. Prior to joining St. Mary’s College, she had 6 years of teaching experience, having worked as a lecturer at ICFAI National College, Hyderabad, St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad, and Christ College (now Christ University), Bengaluru. Goal-driven and ambitious, she is an enthusiastic and committed educator with a natural ability to inspire students. She is the faculty member of the IT Club at St. Mary’s College.
Dayananda Babu

Lecturer in Mathematics
Dayananda Babu has been with St. Mary’s College since 2005. He has been into teaching and training since 1996. He has served our college in different roles, including as member of the Examination Committee. He is a certified internal auditor for ISO. He is also known for his ability to meticulously plan and organize events and activities. He is a mentor to many students. Currently he heads the Examination Division of the college.
Jaimole Cross

Lecturer in Statistics
Jaimole Cross joined St. Mary’s College in 2004. Prior to joining St.Mary’s College, she had 6 years of teaching experience. A passionate professional, she is proactive and enthusiastic about building and managing the Department of Sciences. She believes in collaboration and in building good teams. A committed teacher with effective discipline skills, she works towards promoting positive behaviour among the staff and students. She has taken up important positions at different times. Her areas of academic interest are Operation Research and Data Analytics. Currently she is the Head of the Department of Sciences.

M.H.R. Krishna Prasad joined St. Mary’s Junior College in 1988. He has vast experience in teaching Mathematics to both intermediate and undergraduate students. He was a member of the Review Committee of the Intermediate Mathematics textbook and EAMCET textbook published by Telugu Academy, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He has held various positions, including Coordinator of the Academic and Admin Audit Cell and the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Manasa Machavarapu

Lecturer in Biotechnology
Manasa Machavarapu joined St. Mary’s College in 2017. Before this, she had taught in a reputed engineering college and worked as a research fellow for a UGC project. She has participated in many international and national conferences and published more than 10 research papers in journals, besides two monographs. She has filed a patent for one of her research works. Her areas of interests include downstream processing, food sciences and plant biotechnology.

Lecturer in Mathematics
P.S. Murthy joined St. Mary’s Junior College in 1987 has held important posts, including as Vice-Principal,from time to time. He has held several administrative positions at St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda, as well, including Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Among the senior-most teachers at the college, he is committed to help students identify their talents and goals. A voracious reader and a globetrotter, he continues to be passionate about learning. Currently he is Faculty Mentor of the Mathematics Club and Secretary of St. Mary’s College Staff Association.

Nadiya has been working as a Lecturer in Chemistry at St. Mary’s College since 2015. She has participated in several national seminars.
Noor Unisa

A passionate learner, Noor Unisa found her calling as a teacher and joined St. Mary’s College in 2017. She now strives to instil that same passion for learning in her students. Before becoming a teacher,she dabbled into web development and strived to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Earlier, she taught for 2 years at St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad.She was also a national level basketball player. Noor Unisa believes that actively engaging with students is one of the best ways to get them to follow directions and stay on task.

PrathyushaY. has been working as a lecturer in Biochemistry at St. Mary’s College since 2016. She is a self-motivated and goal-oriented professional. Having worked with prestigious institutes like the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), she has good demonstrative, technical and analytical skills in biochemistry, which she effectively utilizes to enhance learning. She is well-organized and encourages students to participate in various science events and activities. Presently she is the Faculty Mentor for the Dance Club at St. Mary’s College.

Ravi Kumar is a seasoned teacher with rich experience in teaching Statistics for more than30 years. He was a member of the Review Committee of the Intermediate Mathematics textbook and EAMCET textbook published by Telugu Academy, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He has also been the Chief Examiner for Intermediate Public Examinations in the past.
M. Sarvari

Assistant Professor of Chemistry
Sarvari has been teaching Chemistry at St. Mary’s College since 2015. She is proficient in her subject and has a passion for teaching and mentoring. She has evolved innovative teaching methods to make abstruse chemistry concepts simple and easy-to-understand. Her dynamism is evident in her accomplishment of academic and administrative tasks.She has been a member of the Examination Committee and a counsellor for admissions. A keen researcher, she participates in various seminars and conferences, and has won prizes for her papers. A quick learner, she is a highly dependable member of the teaching staff and has the skill to deal with young minds and guide them to pursue their goals successfully.

Sowjanya has been working as a Lecturer in Electronics at St. Mary’s College since 2009. A dedicated professional who radiates positive energy, she is active and ever ready to take up new challenges. Her commitment to students is well-known and for many students she is the first person to approach to voice their concerns. Several students, especially international students, have found a caring mentor in her. She has organized many certificate courses as well as co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Currently she is the coordinator for the Bachelor of Science programmes at St. Mary’s College.

Varalakshmi joined St. Mary’s College as a Lecturer in Biotechnology in 2016, prior to which she was teaching at a reputed engineering college. A strong education professional with a scientific bent of mind, she is highly skilled in Chromatography and Fermentation Techniques.

Vidya Sagar has been with St. Mary’s College since June, 2014 and has over five years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. He is known for his expertise in subjects such as Relational Database Management Systems (SQL), Core and Advance Java, C and C++. He has also participated and presented papers at national conferences.
