1. Bio-Technology
Objective:   It introduces the students to Cell Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and its recent application, which forms the basis of biotechnology.
2.  Zoology Biology of Invertebrates & Cell Biology

Objective:   Enable the students to understand the gradual evolution of invertebrates from unicellular (Protozoa) to multicellular (Hemichordates) through type study. To make students understand the structural and chemical aspects of cell.

3. Chemistry

Objective: It elucidates the significance of s and p block elements, their properties and importance in science. The preparation techniques of unsaturated and saturated hydrocarbons are also discussed in detail. The various states of matter, gaseous, liquid and solid state are studied in detail. An introduction to stereochemistry of carbon compounds is also added.

Year - II
1. Bio-Technology, Biological Chemistry and Micro Biology
Objective: It familiarizes the Bimolecular, Metabolism and enzymes involved in daily life, fundamentals of microbiology, and identification of useful and harmful microorganisms. It also helps students to understand the principles and applications of biophysical techniques which are applied practically in all the research labs.
2. Zoology, Biology of Chordates, Embryology Ecology
Objective:   Enable the students to understand the gradual evolution of vertebrates from Protochordates to Mammalia through type study. To study the development stages of an embryo to understand the interaction between biotic and a biotic factors.
3. Chemistry

Objective: It extends the significance of d and f block elements, their special characteristics. General methods of extraction of metals is also included. Added to this is the study of functional group organic compounds and their chemical properties.

Year - III
1.  Bio Technology, Biological Chemistry and Microbiology

Objective: It deals about genes and genome organization, mitochondrial genome in plants mitochondrial genome in humans, chloroplast genome in plants, organization of eukaryotic genes, Gene expression in Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes, Gene regulation, Recombinant DNA technology, Blotting techniques, Principles and applications of PCR technology, DNA finger printing and applications, Basics of Immunology, Antigen-Antibody reactions, Auto immune diseases.

2.  Zoology, Animal Physiology, Genetics & Evolution
Objective:   Enable the students to understand the various physiological processes occurring in mammals. Enable the students to understand Mendalism & concepts of Molecular Biology. To make students understand the Genetic basis of Evolution
3. Chemistry

Objective: To introduce the student to the study of Complex compounds, their stereochemistry, dynamics, carbohydrates, heterocyclic compounds, amino acids, Thermodynamics, photochemistry, kinetics, NMR spectroscopy.

4. Biotechnology Applications of Biotechnology

Objective: To introduce the students to Animal Biotechnology in which the students know about Stem Cells, Invitro fertilization, Embryo and Gene transfer, Production of transgenic animals, Principles of Exvivo and invivo gene therapy. Plant biotechnology, industrial and fermentation technology, environmental biotechnology, which includes the most successful one like BT cotton, Biofuels, Biofertilizers, etc..

5.   Zoology Applied Zoology - Fisheries & Aquaculture, Clinical Science & Animal Biotechnology

Objective:   Enable the students to understand the purpose of studying Fisheries & Aquaculture and will be emphasized on practical knowledge by conducting a field trip to the department of fisheries. Enable the students to study the concepts of Haematology, Immunology & Parasitology.Enable the students to understand the concepts of Animal Biotechnology.

6. Chemistry

Objective: To introduce the student to various analytical techniques in chromatography, separation methods, drugs, drug synthesis, their therapeutic activity, formulations, pesticides, material science, macromolecules, catalysis, nanomaterial, fullerenes, iron and steel.

ALL THE ABOVE SUBJECTS WILL BE HANDLED BY ORGANISING INDUSTRIAL VISITS, FIELD TRIPS AND ARRANGING GUEST LECTURES FOR MORE PRACTICAL EXPOSURE ABOUT THE SUBJECT.
