Academics apart, St. Marians always keep the college flag flying high with their display of talent during the annual inter-collegiate fete "Prena".
St. Mary's College has incorporated Value Education as part of its academic programme. The main objective is to develop the right set of values through informal and interactive sessions. These sessions are of great help in both corporate as well as personal life.
With the beginning of a new academic year, St. Mary's took up yet another challenge when they were exposed to "Value Education" a diploma course run by the Legends School of Transformation from Bangalore. With their unique diploma course as apart of their programme, the students are all set to add yet another feather to their cap as they emerge from this programme as individuals with high degrees of communication skills and ready to meet the requirements of the job market which is the need of the day.
Among the challenges taken up by the students this academic year are Community Development programmes, AIDS Awareness, Environmental Awareness, Tree Planting, Blood Donation Camps and visits to the Home for the Aged etc.. |
