Scholarships

St. Mary's College has a long testimony of helping needy and meritorious students with Scholarship. There are 8 scholarships funded by the management in the form of full academic year tuition fee of the college.

Students are required to fill up the Scholarship Application form and submit along with their Admission Receipt. All scholarships are announced in the month of August.

The various categories and the criteria is as below:

1. Christian Merit Scholarship:

I.	Total No: 2 1 for Intermediate 1 for Degree
II.	Duration: Annually
III.	Criteria: Has to score minimum 70% marks in the qualifying examination for the first year of Scholarship, and continue to score 75% or above marks each year. Minimum Attendance Required is 80% each year to be eligible for the scholarship the next year. The Top Two students are awarded.
IV.	Scholarship: One Year Fee announced Every Year.

2. Economically Weak:

I.	Total No: 4 2 for Intermediate 2 for Degree
II.	Duration: Annually
III.	Criteria: Has to score minimum 75% Marks in the qualifying examination for the first year of Scholarship . And Continue to score 75% or above each year along with 80% attendance to be eligible for the scholarship for the next year. Total Annual Income of the guardian / parent should not exceed Rs. 60,000/- a year.
IV.	Scholarship: One Year Fee announced Every Year.

3. Sports: One Student Per Batch:

I.	Total No: 2 1 for Intermediate 1 for Degree
II.	Duration: Till he or she enjoys the national level player status.
III.	Criteria: Has to be a national level player Minimum Score of 50% and Attendance of 80% each year.
IV.	Scholarship: 50% of One Year Fee announced Every Year

4. Merit:

I.	Total No:4 2 for Intermediate 2 for Degree
II.	Duration: Annually
III.	Criteria: 90% or above in the qualifying examination and continue to score similar marks in the following years. With minimum attendance of 80% each year.
IV.	Scholarship: One Year Fee announced Every Year.

5. Attendance:

I.	Total No: One student Per Batch per year
II.	Duration: 1 Year
III.	Minimum Score: 60% or above
IV.	Criteria: A student who scores 100% attendance and 60% marks. This scholarship is awarded only after completion of 1st year.
V.	Scholarship: 25% of One Year Fee announced Every Year
