| NSS 10 DAY CAMP AT CHANDAPUR |

N.S.S Unit of St Mary’s college conducted 10 days special camp at Chandapur, Sanga Reddy District. The volunteers, accompanied by the Programme Officer Dr. Radha Varada and Advisory Committee members Mr. K. T Srinivas, Mr. Srikanth, Mr Vijaybhaskar Reddy, Mr. Danikel conducted Academic & Economic Survey, Health awareness camp, Personality Development Program, Computer awareness program, Government Policies awareness camp and Green and clean village camp etc.. Interactive session with the youth of the village and Cricket Match was also organized for the villagers. Celebration of the Republic Day in the village school by hosting the flag, distributing sweets and by conducting some sports for the school children and youth of the village was the highlight and probably the first of its kind for the villagers at Chandapur.
It was an amazing and a very satisfying experience to spend time with the people of Chandapur and to know their problems and opinion about various aspects enlightened the members of NSS the various practical problems that those underprivileged people face in their day to day lives. |
