With the aim of assuring quality performance of the institution, the IQAC of St. Mary’s College, met for the first time on 20th March 2009 at 1:30 PM.

Training to build competencies all through the year, with
Year-round activities in the institution, the meeting was attended by the members of IQAC.
Following are the members of the IQAC 2009-10, according to the suggested composition of the cell as per the NAAC guidelines.

The Co-ordinator, Dr. Suhasini welcomed all the members of the IQAC for the meeting and familiarized them with the features and functions of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, which plays a crucial role in the development and application of quality parameters of the institution. She also informed the members present that every year all accredited institutions must submit the Annual Quality Assurance report to the NAAC with emphasis on the key result areas.
Hence, the IQAC decided to emphasis on the following 2 key areas for the academic year, 2009-10:-

It was decided that the policies for the quality enhancement of the above two areas will be framed in the following meetings. A seminar by Dr. Swaroopa, the Coordinator of IQAC, St. Francis College will be conducted on 25
th March, 2009 to educate all the members of the staff regarding the importance and functioning of the Internal Assessment Quality Cell.
The meeting ended on an enthusiastic note as all the members came forward to contribute their ideas for the improvement of the institution.
