Computing at St.Marys
St.Marys houses one of the most extensive computing environments of any College. Services include e-mail; individual, department and course web pages; a distributed file system; off-campus access to the Internet and a variety of computer servers.
Tech Center, the St.Marys College Network, includes more than 200 computers with assigned Internet protocol addresses. More than a third are active at any given time. About six terabytes of data flow between the Tech center and the Internet on a daily basis. St.Mary’s has 200 e-mail accounts and delivers 2000 to 3000 incoming mail messages daily on systems supported by Information Technology Services (ITS).The college was enabled with WiFi in 2005.
